The practice was founded in 1998, initially as a sole proprietorship but restructured later
to respond to expanded workload and changing operating environment. The firm has
since August 2007 been incorporated as a shareholding company with limited liability,
with the majority shares held by the professional engineers of the firm. After its
formation, the firm initially concentrated on highway design. Since then the firm has
expanded its engineering services in all types of highway engineering fields, including
Construction Supervision and Technical Audits. The firm also ventured into water
resource management, and buildings engineering services. The range of clients has
expanded correspondingly to encompass private clients, international financing
partners, public departments, and other consulting firms.

and appreciates the importance of carrying out credible consultancy services. Kinconsult Associates
Ltd is therefore dedicated to employing the best expertise aimed at achieving the Goals set out by
the clients.

We are committed to providing quality services to our clients and our corporate objective is to ensure that the quality of our work is unsurpassed in accuracy, reliability, timely execution, and cost-effectiveness. With time, we have developed quality assurance procedures that are followed during the implementation of projects.
Design of the various projects is routinely carried out by use of appropriate computer software. Inall cases well-qualified engineers and professionals undertake the assignments needed for variouscontracts. The Principal Director of the firm, Eng. Joshua Kinoti Irea has over 37 years of industrialexperience. He has been project manager for several projects and is registered by the EngineersRegistration Board as a Consulting Engineer.
